Balkan Gagauz Turkish (also known as Balkan Turkic) is a Turkic language spoken in European Turkey, Greece, and in the Kumanovo and Bitola areas of Macedonia. (It is not spoken by the Turks.). Dialects include Gajol, Gerlovo Turk, Karamanli, Kyzylbash, Surguch, Tozluk Turk, Yuruk, and Macedonian Gagauz. This is a different language from Gagauz [Raymond G. Gordon, Jr, ed. 2005. "Ethnologue: Languages of the World". 15th edition. Dallas: Summer Institute of Linguistics.] and Turkish.
