Adetokunbo Ademola

Sir Adetokunbo Adegboyega Ademola, KBE (1 February 1906 - 29 January 1993) was a Nigerian jurist and son of the paramount ruler of Western Nigerian.

Adetokunbo studied law at the University of Cambridge from 1928 to 1931. In the late 1950s he became Chief Justice of the Federation of Nigeria. He was married to a woman who was among the first women in Nigeria to graduate from a Western University.

He was a member of the International Olympic Committee from 1963 to 1993. He was knighted in 1957. He was also chairman of the Nigerian Red Cross for a time.
