Congressional Union

Congressional Union

The Congressional Union was a radical American organization formed in 1913 and led by Alice Paul and Lucy Burns.[1] It campaigned for a constitutional amendment guaranteeing women’s suffrage. It was inspired by the United Kingdom's suffragette movement.
