Central Canal Towpath

The Central Canal Towpath is a bicycle and pedestrian trail in Indianapolis, Indiana that runs from Broad Ripple to 30th Street near Riverside Park and goes by Butler University and the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

It connects to the White River Wapahani Trail through 30th Street and other connections to downtown Indianapolis, trails.

The towpath was built along the Indiana Central Canal, which was supposed to connect the Wabash and Erie Canal to the Ohio River, but was never connected.
