The Mid-South Conference (MSC) is an athletic conference affiliated with the NAIA. Member institutions are located in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. It is headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky.

The MSC has four types of member institutions. Belhaven, Cumberland, Faulkner, Kentucky Christian and Union play football in the MSC and compete in other conferences in all other sports. Bethel and Shorter compete in MSC football and track and field, but are members of other conferences for all other sports. All sports' teams (including football) from Campbellsville, Georgetown College (KY), Lindsey Wilson, Pikeville, University of the Cumberlands, UV-Wise and West Virginia Tech play in the MSC. The same is true of Rio Grande, Shawnee State, and St. Catharine, but these three schools do not have football teams.

The league is headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky and is led by commissioner Steve Baker.
