Hînceşti is a district ( _md. raion) in the of Moldova, with the administrative center at Hînceşti. As of 1 January 2005, its population was 119,800.

Ruled by a county council. After the 2007 elections, head of the council is elected Anatol Chetraru, member of the Democratic Party of Moldova.
