*Anathema: formerly Death/Doom Metal.
*Atomic Kitten: Girl band, formed in 1999 by OMD's Andy McCluskey.
*Apollo 440: Modern day dance act who have had hits with "Ain't talkin 'bout dub" and "Stop the rock".
*Amsterdam: Lead by singer/songwriter Ian Prowse. Elvis Costello, John Peel and Christy Moore favourites.Wrote the classic 'Does this train stop on Merseyside? Have two albums out "The Journey" (2005) and "Arm in Arm" (2008)

*The Bandits: 2000s band top 40 hits with "Two Step Rock" and "Take It and Run". Leading lights in what came to be know as 'cosmic scouse'. Ran the Bandwagon Club which saw early gigs for the Coral and The Zutons.
*The Beatles.
*Benny Profane: Indie-pop band (1985-90). They released two albums, various singles and EPs, and recorded 3 John Peel sessions.
*Big in Japan: Budgie, Ian Broudie, Bill Drummond, David Balfe, Jayne Casey, Holly Johnson.

* [Lloyd Collection] : band of 1985 formed by Mike Lloyd (keys) (ex Neuklon), Mark Birchall (drms) (ex Rafique, later La's), Donna Lowe (voc) (ex Neuklon), Colin McCann (ex Neuklon), Tony Brown, Steve Walsh. Rel 7" Maggie's Farm (Mayday Jan86) as a benefit for L’pool Council Support Fund & sleeve was designed by Sex Pistols’ artist Jamie Ried. In late '85 they played as a duo with just Lloyd & Birchall.

* [Neuklon] : Liverpool band (1979-86), orig feat; James Johnson, Anthony Marshall, Mike Lloyd (keys) (later of Lloyd Collection). Played debut gig at Eric's supp OMD with 2 screaming female singers & untuned instruments. Line up changed frequently with up to 60 different people & by 1984-85 feat; Lloyd, Lee Mavers (voc) (later La's), Colin McCann, Donna Lowe (voc) (latter 2 joined Lloyd Collection). Were known as Venus Beat Mushrooms in 1982. Had track The Phoenix on ‘Jobs For The Boys’ comp LP (Jan85).

*Candie Payne: 1960s influenced, sister of Howie, Lead singer with The Stands and Sean who's the drummer with The Zutons.
*The Pale Fountains: Bacharach and Love-influenced early 80s pop group, led by Mick Head. Later metamorphosed into Shack
*Peter Beckett: Lead singer with American band Player who's biggest hit was "Baby Come Back" which is a worldwide hit to this day.
*Pele: Ian Prowse lead 90s Celtic pop outfit. Released 3 albums on Polydor/M&G and had number 1 hit "Megalomania in South Africa". Ian now leads Amsterdam.

*The Rascals: 2000s indie group consisting of Miles Kane who collaborated with Arctic Monkeys leading man, Alex Turner to create: 'The Last Shadow Puppets'
*The Real People: Proto-Britpop band from the early 90s.
*The Real Thing: Band who sung the 1970s classic "You To Me Were Everything".
*Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

*The Scaffold. 60s group featuring Mike McGear, Roger McGough and John Gorman. Had a Number 1 with "Lily the Pink", and other hits with "Thank You Very Much", "Do You Remember?", and "Gin Gan Goolie" in the 60's and "Liverpool Lou" in the 70s.
*The Searchers: 60s Merseybeat group. No. 1 Hits include "Sweets For My Sweet", "Needles And Pins" and "Don't Throw Your Love Away".
*Shack: Cult band led by Mick Head, formerly of The Pale Fountains. Highly influential on Britpop bands such as Oasis. Noel Gallagher repaid the debt by signing them to his record label.
*Space: 1990s indie-rock band best known for "Female of the Species" and their 6 other Top 20 hit singles.
*The Stands: 2000s rock'n'roll band led by songwriter Howie Payne. Split in 2006.
*Rory Storm and the Hurricanes: Merseybeat group.
*The Swinging Blue Jeans: 60s Merseybeat group. Top 3 Hits include "Hippy Hippy Shake" and "You're No Good".

*The Teardrop Explodes: Julian Cope led an ever changing line-up mixing pop, new wave and psychedelia with surprising commercial success. Split in 1982 after a mere two albums.
