Vâlcea (also spelt "Vîlcea"; IPA2|'vɨl.ʧea) is a county (judeţ) of Romania, in the historical regions of Oltenia and Muntenia (both regions are separated by the Olt River). Its capital city is Râmnicu Vâlcea.
