United Networks

United Networks is an Internet service provider (ISP) and media distributor that was established in Kuwait on October 1, 2005. The company is a member of KIPCO and has several subsidiary companies.

*Global Direct - Distributor of Showtime entertainment and the Shownet ISP.
*Gulfsat - Provider of satellite communications. Established in 1995 with the partnership of the Kuwait Ministry of Communications and Hughes Network Systems.
*GulfNet - Data and Internet division of the company. Established in 1991.
*Marina FM Radio - Local Radio station. First private radio station of Kuwait.
