Jon Kenny

Jon Kenny (born 1957 in the town of Hospital, County Limerick, Ireland) is one half of the famous Irish comic duo d'Unbelievables with Pat Shortt. They were a very successful couple until 2000, when Kenny was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. He has since made a successful recovery and still performs shows across Ireland. Kenny is best known outside Ireland for appearing in the Channel 4 sitcom "Father Ted".

Kenny is an accomplished singer and supporter of Munster Rugby. Jon's siblings, Ann, Joan and Tom have released a serious of hilarious novels about his early adventures in showbusiness, published by Eeb publications and available in all good centra stores from cahirshiveen to hospital.

Jon has just completed filming a lead role in an independent European feature film called "Insatiable", directed by Jessie Kirby. [http://www.insatiable-thefilm.com] On his new DVD, "Back to Front", Jon says he plays the nastiest man in Ireland in the film which is his first serious role.
