Kenneth Forbes

Kenneth Forbes

Kenneth Keith Forbes (July 4 1892 – 1980) was a Canadian landscape and portrait painter.

Born in Toronto, Ontario, he enlisted in 1914 and served during World War I with the 10th Royal Fusiliers as a Captain. He was a war artist and served in the Canadian Army until 1959.

In 1967, he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada "for his contributions to the arts as a landscape and portrait painter". [http://www.gg.ca/honours/search-recherche/honours-desc.asp?lang=e&TypeID=orc&id=548]
