Australian rules football er in theAustralian Football League .Picked up by the Saints as an impressive 16-year-old, in 1990 Peckett won the St Kilda under 19's

He finished 2nd in theTrevor Barker Medal in 1994 and third in 1997.In 2005, Peckett cost his side a win when, against Fremantle in round 21, he ran down the wing rather than towards St Kilda's attacking 50, and was then tackled by
Luke McPharlin , which resulted in Peckett being penalised forholding the ball . The Saints lost by 5 points [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tCZOHK9qb4] .Peckett has been a stalwart of the
St Kilda Football Club , and was part of an experienced group of veterans at the Saints who have decided to continue on in 2006 for one last shot at a premiership. These players includedStephen Powell , Andrew Thompson and Robert Harvey, however a premiership did not eventuate for the club in 2006, with Peckett announcing his retirement soon after the club's exit from the finals series.
