Sierra mountains

A sierra is a word from the Spanish language meaning a mountain range (serra in Portuguese and Latin). It is used for various mountains and mountain ranges in Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries.

Sierra mountains or Sierra Mountain may refer to any one of the following:

** Sierra Nevada (Mexico), running across the central portion of the country
** Sierra San Pedro Mártir, in Baja California

** Serra da Estrela, in the north central region of the country
** Serra de Montejunto, in the west region of the country
** Serra da Vila, in the west region of the country
