John Haymes Newton (born birth date|1965|12|29) is an American actor. He is known for playing series regular roles on the television programs "Superboy", "Melrose Place", and "The Untouchables".

Newton stars in James Kerwin's sci-fi noir film, "Yesterday Was a Lie". On the DVD release of "Superboy: The Complete First Season" in 2006, Newton appears as himself on the documentary featurette "Superboy : Getting Off the Ground" and provided audio commentary with executive producer Ilya Salkind on two episodes.

Born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, he spent 3½ years training and performing theatrically in New York City.
