Simca Type 180

The Type 180 was an automobile straight-4 engine produced in the 1970s. It was an OHC design. It was also called the "Chrysler Centura".

The 2.0 L Type 180 was most common. It was used in various Chrysler Europe and Simca models.

2.2

The 2.2 litre was also built. It was used in the Talbot Tagora. Bore was 92.0 mm (3.6 in) and stroke was 81.5 mm (3.2 in) making a very oversquare design. This engine is sometimes confused with the similar sized Renault/Peugeot Douvrin engine which displaced 2165 cc, while the Simca 180 2.2 litre displaced 2155 cc.
