Taito Type X

The Taito Type X is an arcade system board released by Taito Corporation in 2004. A PC-based design, the Type X board is upgradeable by developers, with the Type X+ and Type X² models having more advanced graphics abilities. The Type X7 board is used primarily for pachinko machines in Japan.

As the name implies, Type X2 is a natural evolution of Type X and X+ that allows the use of newer PC technologies introduced after the unveiling of its predecessors. Like its predecessors, the specs of Type X2 are comparable to that of a contemporary PC.
