Paraćin (Serbian: Параћин, Romanian: "Paraţin" or "Paracin") is a town and municipality in Serbia, located in the valley of the Velika Morava river, north of Kruševac and southeast of Kragujevac, at coord|43.87|N|21.41|E|. In 2003 the town has total population of 25,400. The old Name of Paraćin was Sarmatae.
