Sopot (Сопот) is a town and municipality in Serbia. It is part of the wider region of Belgrade, located south of Belgrade at coord|44|31|N|20|35|E|, 177.38 m above sea level. Its name is the old Slavic word for "spring" (source) which is today replased in Serbian by the word 'извор'.

Sopot is near beautiful mountain Kosmaj. In the city is a big primary and economy high school, one of the biggest on Balkan.Sopot has soccer team Wolves from Kosmaj, which plays serious role in Serbian soccer league.Also, there is a basketball club Wolves from Kosmaj with about 90 kids, which made international success in Europe on the few tournaments.
