Lyn Breuer

Lyn Breuer, Australian politician, is a member of the South Australian House of Assembly. She represents the electoral district of Giles and is a member of the Australian Labor Party. Ms Breuer is the only Labor member of the House of Assembly who represents a state electorate in country South Australia.

Before entering Parliament at the 1997 state election, Ms Breuer was a lecturer in Women’s Studies and Vocational Education at the Spencer Institute of TAFE. She was Junior Vice President of the Australian Labor Party.

The 2006 election saw Ms Breuer increase her margin by 4.7% to 14.4%.
