Central Devon is a county constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

The constituency was created for the 2010 general election, following a review of parliamentary representation in Devon by the Boundary Commission for England, which has increased the number of seats in the county from 11 to 12.[2] Central Devon covers parts of the East Devon, Mid Devon, Teignbridge and West Devon districts, including the towns of Ashburton, Buckfastleigh, Crediton and Okehampton.

It had a notional Conservative majority of just over 1,700 making it a key marginal at the 2010 election.[3]
