Geoffrey Cook (born October 9, 1951, Middlesbrough, Yorkshire) is a former English cricketer who played in 7 Tests and 6 ODIs from 1981 to 1983.

In county cricket he played for Northamptonshire County Cricket Club later moving to Durham County Cricket Club when they gained first-class status becoming their first county captain. After running the county's youth Academy, he was appointed first team coach in March 2007. Under Cook's guidance Durham won the first major title in the clubs history at Lords in 2007 and went on to win the County Championship for the very first time itself in 2008.

He has one daughter, Anna, and a son named Andrew.
