Takapuna Grammar School is located near the suburb of Takapuna (but is adjacent to Belmont Primary and Belmont Intermediate in Belmont), in the North Shore City, Auckland, New Zealand. It was established in 1927. It serves the communities of Bayswater, Belmont, Devonport, Takapuna, Milford and other suburbs in the North Shore. The decile rating of the school is 10. The current principal is Simon Lamb.

It is currently undergoing a $9,100,000 ministry-funded three-stage upgrade. Stage 1 - the Georgea Tindall Jubilee Performing Arts Center - was completed in June 2006 and stage 2, a new, two storey art / technology block, was completed in September 2007.

Allegations of bullying and of a "fight club" operating at the school arose in March 2008 after the suicide of a student.
