Hon. Robert Justin Hulls (born January 23, 1957) is the Deputy Premier of Victoria. He has been a member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly since 1996, representing the electorate of Niddrie. As well as currently serving as the Deputy Premier of Victoria, he is also the state Attorney-General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Minister for Racing.

Rob Hulls was born in Melbourne and attended Xavier College, from 1969-72 and then moved to Peninsula Grammar where he was from 1973-75.

Hulls was previously a Solicitor for the Legal Aid Commission Victoria from 1984-86. He was also Principal, Rob Hulls & Associates, Mt Isa 1986-90. Hulls served one term in federal parliament when he was elected to the very safe National Seat of Kennedy, Queensland from 1990-93, but was soundly beaten by Bob Katter in the 1993 election. He left Queensland soon after the election and from 1993-95 he was the Chief of Staff, Leader of Opposition in Victoria.

In his state political career Rob Hulls has been the Minister for Manufacturing Industry and Minister for Racing from 1999-2002. Minister for WorkCover from 2002-05. Attorney-General since October 1999. Minister for Industrial Relations since December 2002. Minister for Planning January 2005-December 2006. Minister for Racing since December 2006.

In his personal life Hulls is married to his wife and lives in Essendon, they have three children. Rob Hulls is a keen supporter of the Geelong Football Club.

He was elected unopposed as Deputy Premier on July 30, 2007 after the retirement of John Thwaites. Rival candidates Lynne Kosky and Bronwyn Pike had previously withdrawn from the race due to new Premier John Brumby having supported Hulls.
