Center for Medieval Studies (Pennsylvania State University)

The Center for Medieval Studies at Pennsylvania State University, founded to promote "research and study in the European Middle Ages", is a part of the university's Institute for the Arts and Humanistic Studies.

Previous publications have included books such as "Agriculture in the Middle Ages" edited by D. Sweeney, "The Stage as Mirror: Civic Theatre in Late Medieval Europe" edited by Alan Knight, and "The Pilgrim's Guide to Compostela" by Alison Stones & Jeanne Krochalis.

One of the more distinctive activities hosted by the center is the Medieval Garden exhibit, including tours of the garden and food and tea made from the garden's produce.
