Mid Cork Former County constituency for the House of Commons 1885–1922 Number of members One Created from County Cork Mid Cork , a division of County Cork, was a parliamentary constituency in Ireland, represented in the Parliament of the United Kingdom. From 1885 to 1922 it returned one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
Until the 1885 general election the area was part of the Cork County constituency. From 1922 it was not represented in the UK Parliament, as it was no longer in the UK.

Charles Kearns Deane Tanner died in office and was succeeded by Daniel Desmond Sheehan (Irish Parliamentary Party) at a constituency by-election on 17 May 1901.

16 January 1906 (general election) Candidate Party Votes Daniel Desmond Sheehan Irish Parliamentary Party returned unopposed After the general election in 1906, Sheehan was expelled from the IPP and, in protest and to re-emphasize his support, he resigned the seat and re-stood as an Independent (Labour) candidate in the resulting by-election.
