Soviet submarine TK-210

Soviet submarine TK-210

Hull number ТК-210 was to be an "Akula" class (NATO reporting name "Typhoon") submarine. Construction was started at Severodvinsk in the late 1980s, but she was cancelled before completion and dismantled in 1990.

Trivia

* Had she been completed, ТК-210 would have been the seventh in her class. The book (and later movie) "The Hunt for Red October" is about a fictional seventh "Typhoon", the "Red October" ("Красный Октябрь").
