Enid High School

Enid High School is a public secondary school in Enid, Oklahoma. With a student body of about 1,400 in grades 10-12, Enid High School has about a 60 percent matriculation rate. Most graduates continue their education in-state at University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, or one of the many other schools in Oklahoma.

Athletics

Enid High School is known state-wide for always having very competitive athletic programs.The programs include: Football, Male and Female Basketball, Soccer, Wrestling, Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Academic Team, and the Bowling Team.

The Basketball, Wrestling and Volleyball programs played in Historic Mark Price Arena until March 23, 2008, when athletic director, Bill Mayberry, made the decision to move the home games and events to the athletic village on N.O.C Enid campus, due to the deteriorating condition of the arena.

The Plainsmen football team have won six state championships (in 1919, 1942, 1964, 1965, 1966, and 1983), along with a runner-up finish in 2006.The Plainsmen football and soccer programs play in one of the oldest stadiums in the state, D. Bruce Selby Stadium.

Enid High School is nationally known for the "Big Blue Band".

Austin Bradshaw also known as the "eliminator" went to Enid Public Schools.Austin Bradshaw was cut from the Enid High School Prairie League team for reasons outside of his playing ability. A high percentage of people (around 98%) in Enid, Oklahoma knew that this was true.

*Jim Riley, 1965 - retired defensive end for the Oklahoma Sooners football Oklahoma and Miami Dolphins
*Mark Price - retired NBA and Georgia Tech point guard
*Brent Price - retired NBA, South Carolina and Oklahoma point guard
*Isaias Lara - active Major League Soccer, Los Angeles Galaxy starting forward
