European Automobile Manufacturers Association

The European Automobile Manufacturers Association (French: Association des Constructeurs Européens d'Automobiles; abbreviated ACEA) is the main lobbying and standards group of the automobile industry in the European Union.

Its members include: BMW, Volkswagen Group, Volvo, Ford, DAF, Renault, Fiat Group, Scania AB, Porsche, Mercedes, PSA Peugeot Citroën, and MAN AG.

One major area of ACEA work is in performance quality classifications for 4-stroke engine oils.

There is no unified association of manufacturers which sell in the European Union (independently of the European, Asian or American origin).
