JJ (magazine)

" JJ " is a fashion and lifestyle magazine published in Japan by Kobunsha.

"JJ", the earliest established women's magazine for college students in Japan, has been established in 1975 as an extra issue of "weekly Josei Jishin", and "JJ" had seized an opportunity at height of women's magazine for college students in Japan. "JJ" is currently supported among young Japanese women.

The ages of the readers of "JJ" are between 17 to 26, included college students and office workers.

"JJ" proposes its readers to dress conservatively, now and then.

Currently "JJ" possesses plenty of professional fashion models called "JJ models", however, they are not necessarily models under exclusive contract with "JJ".

"JJ" is not even indicated whether models under exclusive contract or not.

Ryoko Tanami is typical of successive "JJ" models, and she has been active in "Classy", a version of "JJ" magazine for an elder audience. (for women aged between 24 to 28)

"JJ Bis" is a version of "JJ' magazine for a younger audience. (for high-teen schoolgirls)
