Like so many Ivorians in Europe, Touré began his career in the youth setup of
ASEC Abidjan , before moving to another Cote d'Ivoire based club, Toumodi FC. In 2005 he left Toumodi to joinMetalurh Donetsk ofUkraine , staying there for a year before joining FrenchLigue 1 outfitOGC Nice in June 2006 following a successful trial period. He was awarded with the number 15 shirt, and playing alongside Ivorian international striker, and World Cup 2006 playerBakari Koné . In the summer of 2007 he returned to his former club Metalurh Donetsk. In the summer of 2008 he returned to his youth clubASEC Abidjan .Family
