The Art Institute of Portland is a college in Portland, Oregon, United States that grants bachelor and associate degrees in a number of disciplines including: Advertising, Apparel Accessory Design, Apparel Design, Design Management, Design Studies, Digital Film & Video, Game Art & Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interactive Media Design, Interior Design, Media Arts & Animation, Visual & Game Programming, and Visual Effects & Motion Graphics.

Located in Portland's Pearl District, the Art Institute of Portland includes twelve computer labs, multiple animation and video labs, a recording studio, library, and a public Art Gallery located on the first floor. Showcased Student Work is frequently updated and can be found throughout the hallways of the school.

The Art Institute of Portland is part of the education corporation, EDMC. The Education Management Corporation is a privately held company that specializes in career oriented education. EDMC is a for profit corporation.

Rigorous, required course schedule of four full-time [15 credit hours, or 5 courses] quarters [includes shortened summer term] per year makes it possible to complete a four-year degree in three years. Part time enrollment is discouraged.
