Jason Fred Brown (born 10 October 1974 in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire) [cite news |url=http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/counties/northamptonshire/2850625.stm |title=Northamptonshire squad |publisher=BBC Sport |date=2006-04-06 |accessdate=2007-05-06] is an English cricket player who has played for the cricket teams of Northamptonshire, England A and Staffordshire.

Jason Brown made his First-class cricket debut for Northamptonshire County Cricket Club against Yorkshire County Cricket Club at the County Cricket Ground, Northampton in September 1996.Up to the end of the 2008 season,he has played 126 First-Class matches for Northamptonshire. He also played in 3 matches for England A team during their tour of the West Indies in January 2001.

In these 129 matches,Brown has taken 414 wickets,with 22 instances of taking 5 wickets in an innings.His best performances were 7-78 against Sussex County Cricket Club at Northampton in 2000 and 7-69 against Durham County Cricket Club at the Riverside Ground in 2003.
