Diário de Notícias is a Portuguese daily newspaper, founded in Lisbon, on December 29, 1864 by Tomás Quintino Antunes and Eduardo Coelho. It gradually became one of the best known Portuguese newspapers. Nowadays, Diário de Notícias, along with Jornal de Notícias, is owned by Controlinveste.

During the 1870s and 1880s the novelist Eça de Queiroz, then stationed in England in the Portuguese diplomatic service, contributed occasional "London letters" to the newspaper. Some of these were afterwards published in book form as the Cartas de Inglaterra.

Music critic Joaquim Seabra Pessoa, best known for being Fernando Pessoa's father, also worked for Diário de Notícias from 1868 to 1893.
