The Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic ( _cs. Poslanecká sněmovna Parlamentu České republiky, abbr. "PS PČR", usually referred to as "Poslanecká sněmovna") is the lower house of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.

It has 200 members, elected for a four-year term under the party-list proportional representation election system. Since the 2002 general election 14 constituencies (matching the regions) and the D'Hondt method have been used.

The seat of the Chamber of Deputies is situated in palaces of Malá Strana in Prague along the Sněmovní ("Diet") Street.

Latest election

Situation in the Chamber of Deputies reflects the result of the last election held in 2006, that ended in deadlock. Both rightists and leftists control 100 seats. However, 2 MP's elected for ČSSD were excluded from their party for having expressed confidence in the newly formed rightist government.
