Plužine (Serbian Cyrillic: Плужине) is a town in northwesten Montenegro. It has a population of 1,494 (2003 census).

Plužine is the centre of "Plužine municipality" (population 4,272) and unofficial centre of "Piva region", named after Piva River.

History

After the building of Mratinje Dam in 1975, the town was transferred uphill, while the previous location was flooded by newly created Piva Lake.
