Fussa (福生市; -shi) is a city located in Tokyo, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 61,337 and the density of 5,989.94 persons per km². The total area is 10.24 km².

The city was founded on July 1, 1970.

Fussa, along with it's neighboring cities Iruma and Tachikawa, contains a strong military presence. The eastern portion of the city's economy focuses mainly on the base and servicing those who live there. Western Fussa-shi lies on the banks of the Tama River, is home to many parks, recriational facilities, two Japanese sake breweries, and well-groomed bicycle paths. Facing west from anywhere in the city includes a stunning panoramic view of the mountains which surround Tokyo, including Mt. Fuji on a clear day.

Education

Fussa operates public elementary and junior high schools.

Tokyo Metropolitan Government Board of Education operates public high schools.
