Muzaffar Hussain Baig

Muzaffar Hussain Baig is a former deputy chief minister of Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir(J&K). He is a leader of the Jammu and Kashmir People's Democratic Party and till 2006 was deputy chief minister.He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of the J&K state in 2002 and 2008.

He is a lawyer who has got a degree from Harvard Law School. Besides working in top law firms in USA and New Delhi in India, Muzaffar Baig was also the Advocate General of the J&K.He was born in Wahidna, a small hilly village in Baramulla district of the Kashmir valley.
