Keiwan Jevar Ratliff (born April 19, 1981 in city-state|Youngstown|Ohio) is an American football cornerback who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Florida.

Ratliff has also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts.

Early years

Ratliff attended Whitehall-Yearling High School in Columbus, Ohio and was a letterman in football, basketball.

Former High School teammate of Giants receiver Domenik Hixon and Charlie Daniel.

College career

During his time with Gators, he set a school record for punt return yards (860), interceptions in a season (9), and interceptions in a single game (3). In 2003, he made made the College Football All-America Team and won SEC defensive player of the year honors.

Professional career

Cincinnati Bengals

In the 2004 NFL Draft he was drafted in the 2nd round by the Cincinnati Bengals. His best season was in 2005, when he intercepted 3 passes and recovered a fumble.

On September 26, 2007, the Bengals released him.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Ratliff signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on November 12, 2007, but was waived on November 28, 2007.

Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts claimed Ratliff off waivers on November 29, 2007. Ratliff saw limited play with the team in the 2007 and 2008 seasons until he was cut by the Colts on September 20, 2008.
