Abdur Razzak (actor)

Abdur Razzak (born 23 January, 1942) is a famous Bangla movie actor. He became famous first as a Television actor, then as film hero in the mid 1960s. Throughout the rest of the decade, as well as 1970s, Razzak was considered as the top actor in Bangladeshi movies. Like most other actors in Bangladesh, he became known by his last name, Razzak.

Razzak was born in Kolkata, Bengal, (now in West Bengal, India). He migrated to erstwhile East Pakistan in early 1960s. Initially, Razzak became a favourite of the viewers of Pakistan Television. He went on to make more than 300 appearances in Bangla and Urdu movies. He also directed around sixteen movies.
