Achacachi is a town on the Altiplano plateau in the South American Andes in Bolivia.

History of Achacachi

Achacachi as urban establishment already existed before the arrival of the Spaniards, as we can see in the descriptions that were made on “cronicas” and “relaciones” (official papers written by authorities) by real or ecclesiastical Spaniards authorities.
