Henderson County Public Schools is a school district located south of Asheville, North Carolina, located in the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountains of western North Carolina. The district hosts 21 schools: 12 elementary schools (grades K-5), 4 middle schools (grades 6-8), 4 high schools (grades 9-12) and 1 alternative school (grades 6-12).
