Sweet Head

Sweet Head

"Sweet Head" is a song written by David Bowie and recorded in 1972. It took a while before it was released, and it first appeared on the Rykodisc CD release of "Ziggy Stardust" in 1990. It also appeared on the "30th Anniversary Reissue" bonus disc of "Ziggy Stardust" in 2002. Though originally written for The Rise of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders of Mars, it was most likely considered too provocative to be released on the original album. The song's lyrics contain strong innuendo, and directly reference oral sex.
