Windsor House

Windsor House

Windsor House is a high-rise office building in Belfast, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The building is the tallest storeyed building on the island of Ireland and stands at 80 metres (262 feet) tall, with 23 floors. Once completed, the Obel Tower will overtake Windsor House as the tallest in Ireland and in turn the Aurora building will then take this position from the Obel. The incomplete Elysian buidling in Cork including its decorative spire is taller by one metre and three taller skyscrapers to be built in Dublin in the Republic of Ireland were given planning permission in July 2006.

In March 2007 a Cavan company bought the building, with the intention of converting the building into luxury apartments. [ [http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/6418777.stm BBC] ]
