Bishop Gorman High School or (BGHS) is a Roman Catholic private college preparatory school serving the Las Vegas, Nevada area. Located in Summerlin, the school is administered by the Diocese of Las Vegas. The school opened in 1954 and its mascot is a Gael, or mounted Irish Knight.

History

In 2006, Bishop Gorman introduced a house system. There are ten houses in total divided into the Anderson and Sullivan Division. The houses in the Anderson Division are DePaul, Georgetown, Gonzaga, Holy Cross, and Loyola. Bishop Gorman High School moved to a new campus in the Mesas Village of Summerlin for the 2007-2008 school year. Athletics

The athletics program at Bishop Gorman are known as the Gaels and compete in the Southwest Division of the Sunset 4A Region.
