The "Journal of Peace Research" is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes scholarly articles and book reviews in the fields of peace studies, conflict resolution, and international security. Its scope is similar to that of the Journal of Conflict Resolution. Founded in 1964, it is published bi-monthly since 1998. The journal’s editorial offices are located at the International Peace Research Institute, Oslo. The current editor is Nils Petter Gleditsch.
