Cherokee flag

Cherokee flag may refer to the Flag of the Cherokee Nation (Oklahoma), the Flag of the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians (Oklahoma), or to the Flag of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee nation (North Carolina).

A common element of the Cherokee flags is the seven pointed star, which symbolizes the sacred fire of the Cherokee people, and the seven clans.
