Vindaloo (Venkat Katregadda) is a comic book character, one of the newer members of the mutant villains known as the Acolytes, and was first seen in "X-Men" vol. 2 #86.

Fictional character biography

Vindaloo was loyal to the Acolytes until his possible death on Genosha, which was destroyed by robots called the Sentinels. He was able to secrete chemicals which ignited on contact with air. Nothing of his past prior joining the Acolytes has ever been revealed.

He did return during the event, as a former member of the Acolytes who were tracked down by the X-Men looking for information on the whereabouts of Exodus' newest incarnation of the team. Powers and abilities

Expel an amorphous, flammable gel through his pores that ignites in the air, and can be directed as blasts of burning napalm from his fists.
