Keikyū Main Line

The nihongo|Main Line|本線|Honsen is a commuter rail line operated by the Nihongo|Keihin Electric Express Railway|京浜急行電鉄|Keihin Kyūkō Dentetsu, a Japanese private railway operator. The company and the main line are often called Nihongo|Keikyū|京急 or Keiky Line for short. The Main Line runs through Tokyo, Kawasaki, Yokohama and Yokosuka municipalities. This line began as a short 2km line in 1895, and by 1905 had extended from Shinagawa (Tokyo) to central Yokohama.

The operator Keiky offers 5 types of rapid service as well as Local trains.Abbreviations are tentative for this article.;nihongo|Local|普通|Futsū:stops all stations;nihongo|Express|急行|Kyūkō E:mainly between Toei Asakusa Line and Haneda Airport;nihongo|Limited Express|特急|Tokkyū L:nicknamed by anglophones "Red Limited Express" or "Red Train" from the colour of the signs on cars and in stations.;nihongo|Rapid Limited Express|快特|Kaitoku R:nicknamed "Green Limited Express" or "Green Train";nihongo|Airport Rapid Limited Express|エアポート快特|Airport Kaitoku R:between Haneda Airport and Keisei line via Toei Asakusa Line. Stops are the same with Rapid Limited Express.;nihongo|Keikyū Wing|京急ウィング号|Keikyū-Wing-gō W:charged for seat reservation. Operated only in weekday evenings, down (for Kurihama) trains.
