Capitulation in the Netherlands and Denmark

Capitulation in North West Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark was an official ceremony at the end of World War II that marked the surrender of German forces in northwestern Germany, Denmark and Holland to 21st Army Group, under Field Marshal Montgomery, on the 4th May, 1945. The ceremony took place on Lüneburg Heath, Lower Saxony, Germany.
