Punjab States Agency

The Punjab States Agency was an administrative unit of British India. The agency was created in the 1930's, on the model of the Central India Agency and Rajputana Agency, and was composed of 40 princely states in northwest India formerly under the British Punjab Province. After 1947, the states acceded to either the Union of India or the Dominion of Pakistan.
